Our Story
A recipe passed down, now in a jar
Mama Buka started in a Rochdale kitchen with one stew — tomato, tatashe, scotch bonnet, ginger and garlic, slow-cooked the way it's been made for generations. We jarred it so that recipe could reach more kitchens without losing the flavour that makes it home.
Small-batch, UK-made
Every jar is prepared in Rochdale in small batches, so it reaches your kitchen fresh.
No shortcuts
Just tomato, tatashe, scotch bonnet, ginger, garlic and onion. No preservatives, ever.
Built for real kitchens
From single jars for weeknight dinners to bulk cases for cafés and canteens.
